Martin Madrazo is one of the main characters in Grand Theft Auto V. Madrazo is the top guy of his own drug Cartel within the US and Mexico along with being a wealthy and powerful businessman living in Los Santos with his wife Patricia.

Madrazo appears when Michael De Santa and Franklin Clinton pull down a house that he owned in the Vinewood Hills. This occured because Michael came home to find his wife, Amanda, cheating on him with her tennis coach who escaped to the house in Vinewood Hills.

As the hitmen and Madrazo turn up to Michael’s home after chasing them both back, he sees Michael but does not know who he has and tells Franklin to explain Madrazo’s background to him. Martin compliments Franklin’s explanation to Michael and beats Michael with a bat in anger. He also tells Michael that he needs to pay for the cost of rebuilding the house which forces him out of retirement to find the money.

He was wrongfully accused of running a Mexican-American gang and a narcotic ring, but the charges were dropped because of the witnesses came up missing.

Later on, Madrazo calls Michael as he needs him for a job. Michael meets Madrazo and his ranch in Vinewood Hills along with Trevor Philips who has a crush on his wife, Patricia. Madrazo tells them that he needs them both to kill his cousin, Javier because he was thinking of testifying against him.

Madrazo explains to them both that he has set up a turret in next to the Galileo Observatory which they need to use to shoot down the private plane. Once Michael and Trevor have completed the job, Trevor returns back to Madrazo’s ranch with confidential files taken from the plane wreckage. However, when Madrazo refuses to pay him, Trevor cuts off his ear and steals his wife and car before driving back to his trailer where himself and Michael are forced to hide.

To stop Madrazo trying to kill Michael and Trevor, the former retrieves an Aztec fertility statue from a sunken container and gifts it to Madrazo as a peace offering, Trevor returns his wife but threatens to kill him if he ever mistreats her again.
